Result-based management
In contract-based nature conservation, specific measures or restrictions are agreed upon for valuable land – for example, no fertilisation or a later mowing date.
In ‘results-based management’, specific targets and indicators are agreed upon for the land rather than specific measures – for example, the presence of certain species such as Salvia pratensis.
The measures to achieve these targets are decided year on year by the farmer themselves.

Here, farmers explain in German how they put results-based farming into practice:

First Aid for Amphibians
Frogs, toads, newts, and other amphibians are often on the move across land. They are constantly searching for moisture and dark corners. It's not uncommon for them to fall into light wells, ventilation shafts, or through cattle grids. If there's no way out, they need our help! It's quite simple.
Tips on how to help are available here as part of the "Simply Good" project, which we are conducting in cooperation with Blühendes Österreich (Blooming Austria).
Christina Prechtl from Tyrol knows the problem of cattle grids for frogs and toads from personal experience.
In the video, she shows how to install effective escape aids using simple means, without having to lift heavy cattle grids.
