Extensive grazing (ongoing)
WIN #Grazing – Dialogue and process support for nature-orientated grazing
As part of the Austria-wide cooperation project WIN #agriculture (Werkstatt Innovation Natur), suske consulting is supporting the conception, moderation and process facilitation of the WIN #Grazing workshop series. The project brings together stakeholders from agriculture and nature conservation to develop innovative solutions for preserving biodiverse habitats.
WIN #agriculture is initiated by BirdLife Austria, Blühendes Österreich – BILLA gemeinnützige Privatstiftung (BILLA non-profit private foundation) and Impact Hub Vienna.
This four-part workshop series addresses the question of how extensive grazing can be strengthened in the long term in Austria's non-Alpine regions. The aim is to develop concrete recommendations and solutions for the future design of agricultural policy – particularly with regard to the upcoming CAP (common agricultural policy) period – in collaboration with agricultural practitioners, representatives from authorities, chambers of agriculture and nature conservation organizations.
Suske consulting is responsible for the entire process support of the workshop series – from conception and preparation to moderation, follow-up and documentation. This includes a digital kick-off, two in-person thematic workshops with an excursion and a final event with a large group where the jointly developed results are brought together.
Our task is to facilitate a structured and constructive dialogue between different interest groups, promote collaborative learning and develop sustainable solutions. Through professional moderation, targeted participation formats and careful process design, we create the foundation for joint recommendations from diverse perspectives on the environmentally compatible development of extensive grazing.
