Client: Neusiedler See - Seewinkel National park
For the Neusiedler See - Seewinkel National park a long-term strategy is to be developed to increase and anchor biodiversity in the national park area, taking local conditions into account. Grazing and mowing play a key role as central management elements and are essential for many species of birds, insects, wild bees, mammals and plants. The biodiversity work plan is to be drawn up in such a way that it is easy to use for the administration and caretakers of the national park (e.g. derivation of work programs, contractual nature conservation measures, success checks, ...) and can be further processed in databases and GIS. In addition to existing fundamentals well-known experts will also be involved in developing the goals and measures.
