The ecopoints measure was a company-wide oriented measure of ÖPUL 07-13. Instead of fixed rates ecopoints of different amounts were awarded and rewarded for the environmental performance of the companies depending on the annual management. In the evaluation study the acceptance of the measure was checked, effects on the protected goods of soil, water and climate were analyzed and differences to other ÖPUL measures were identified. Conclusions and suggestions for the further development of the measure were derived from the analyses and it was examined to what extent approaches to the ecopoints measure could be designed nationwide. Suske consulting analyzed the INVEKOS data, conducted interviews with experts, moderated the voting workshops and assessed the effects on the protected goods. The study was carried out by a team consisting of the LACON office, the ÖKL and suske consulting.
