We look closely at our meadows!

This year, the annual meeting of the regional project representatives of the project "Farmers observe plants and animals" took place in the Waldviertel region of Upper Austria at Rosa Kolm's farm. Suske Consulting was responsible for the organisation and facilitation of the meeting.

The regional project representatives are particularly committed to promoting biodiversity on poor grasland and to spreading the word about the monitoring project in their region. In addition to a vivid exchange of experience on past and planned activities among the project representatives, the 2017 meeting included a guided tour of the farm and a guided hike to Rosa Kolm's protected meadows. Also, Thomas Ellmauer from nature consult gave an insightful lecture on "What we don't know yet - what factors influence the occurrence of plant species and communities?”
