CONCORDIA – Eco-Tree Nursery

On behalf of CONCORDIA we established a small Eco-Tree Nursery in Ploiesti/Romania, where former street children receive training in an interesting new work area. The main task of the tree nursery is to propagate Romanian autochthonal trees and bushes. Because of its combination of ecological and social objectives, the project offers the street children a promising future. |
As part of the project “CONCORDIA vocational school” the “CONCORDIA Eco-Tree Nursery” offers a new field of education to socially disadvantaged youth. Individual training programmes are developed for those who want to learn the gardening profession.
Mobility in the Rhine Valley
The risk concerning the nature conservation directives of a revised alternative of a road route which crosses a NATURA 2000 area in the Rhine Valley (Austria) has been tested. The government of Vorarlberg decided to follow up the variants CP and Z as street variants for the region.Mission Statement
For the alpine nature park „Zillertaler Alpen“ the mission statement has been created, in cooperation with persons involved. Among other, the mission statement includes SWOT-analysis, areas of responsibility and vision.
